English: Sledging on Galashiels Golf Course These youngsters are enjoying the winter conditions on the downhill 17th fairway at Galashiels Golf Course. A good covering of snow has been a rarity in the past few years, while I recall enjoying this activity quite often at this location as a boy in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Update on the current golf course layout:- This old 17th hole now doubles up as the 2nd and 11th holes on the current course layout that was implemented on 4/4/09. |
